I originally discovered yellowbirdd at university through Tumblr. I received a follow from the band page, checked it out, and absolutely loved it. I messaged Liam as I had a split singles project at the time about contributing a track and we released 'Short Fuse/Sweet Joy' in 2014 and it still remains to be one of my favourite releases.

In 2016, after years of chatting online. We finally got to meet and hang out and it was an absolute joy. Liam has such an awesome back catalogue of music and would absolutely love to see him again.

My good buddy Ellis Thomas contributed vocals. To his credit, he had never heard the song before but told me that he immediately fell in love with it.
